Custome Holidays

In general when I am giving a gift to some one I know I like to make it personal and something that they would use and like. When I can I will try and make it but this year for the holidays I seem to have found myself making things for others to give instead, this is something new to me that I have been working on since I started my etsy shop making things with out knowing the person that it is going to. So since it is before the holidays I ant really talk about what I am working on because then it would ruin the presents for the people getting them but I will be posting about them after xmas!

As for the decorating how-to's that I talked about in my last post they are coming sorry that it is taking so long but I am having some problems with furture/ getting things out of boxes but the decorating will start soon. So keep and eye out they will be coming soon!!

Sorry that I haven't posted anything in a while but we were remodeling our basement which is where my work space normally is so I haven't been able to do much/find anything but as soon as the carpet goes down tomorrow I am going to be working heard to find all my things to get work done. As I am going to be resetting up my work space I am going to post how-to's to some of my crafty ways of decorating and maybe also some of the other things that I am working on.

Also back in October me and my friend Casey had a booth at the Bellmore Street fair and as soon as I find the charger to my point and shoot camera I will post all about it.

Tripping Over Life

Some times life just gets in the way of doing the things you want to do, I am sorry to any one who is reading this that I have not posted anything in a while but a combination of working on my Thesises and other things going on in my life I have not been able to create anything that was not for school. You may ask why I just didn't post things about my thesises and projects but for my thesises I can not post my films if I ever want to put them in film festivals I can not post them on the internet. But what I can give you is photos of the different steps of my puppets that I made for my Stop motion final (whitch is the last project I handed in for my undergrad!)

I am a bad blogger

Yeah so I have been a combination of busy and then sick so I haven't posted in a while going against what I said I would not do at the beginning so I am sorry to who ever is actually reading this but I have been working on some new stuff so for now here is my first attempt at animating clay. and I will have more for you in a day or two!!

Hand Made With Love

So when ever it is a friends birthday or holiday that involves gift giving I always try to make something personal and special for them because I think that if i just get them something just to get them something its point less because they won't like it and will just throw it out. There are just a few key things to think of in order to give a gift that is actually thoughtful and will be an amazing present.

first just Observe- this is mostly just listening to what they say, they like what they think of, what they use, what they wear just knowing there personality. Then when you go to think about what to get them will come to you naturally.

Second- Don't think that some thing is too simple some thing that is used in everyday if you just make it a little special and just for them will go a long way.

Third- It doesn't need to be perfect if there is thought behind a gift then that will just gloss over the imperfections. 

I just wanted to write about this today because I have been working on a gift for my friend today I wish I could post Some pictures of it but I will not be giving it to her for another couple of days but just put thought behind your actions and it will go along way!
